Formed over a decade ago, Kentucky-based PYROMANCER is the old-school black / death brainchild of Conqueror Horus and Master of Graveyard Torment - respectively known for Tombstalker and Apocryphal Revelation, among many others - through which both men create transgressive dark art for those that seek to crush the world with pride. No frills and no compromise, PYROMANCER is a vessel for sonic terror and occult old-school savagery only. A demo tape arrived from the abyss in 2015, and was followed nearly a decade later by the Subjugation Through Cruelty split EP with American comrades Perversion.
After much anticipation, the time has finally come for PYROMANCER to make their debut full-length statement and rise up to spit in the face of the world once again. This statement is indeed titled as such: Igniting the Sacrificial Pyre. Evincing that sacrifice of soul required for arcane black / death metal, PYROMANCER's debut album explodes with crushing filth, a geyser of unclean sounds assaulting the listener at every crooked turn.
