This release has been a long time in the making, and I’m proud to announce (finally) that Putrescence - Liquefied Brain Methods will be released on vinyl early 2026!
Originally released back in 2021, the third album from Putrescence spews forth a venomous deathgrind record full of scathing commentary, blood curdling grooves and militant blasts that mistakenly went under everyone’s radar. “Liquefied Brain Methods” is a grotesque autopsy of the human mind under extreme pressure and duress where the brain rots, liquefies and spews out as liquefied mush. Drawing from the most suffocating depths of death metal and grind-infested brutality, the album delivers a relentless barrage of convulsing riffs, heaving low end, and percussion that feels less like rhythm and more like blunt-force trauma.
Each track operates as a clinical experiment in neural destruction grotesque grooves, warped tempos, and vocals that erupt like brain matter from a ruptured skull. Liquefied Brain Methods rejects clarity and comfort, favoring suffocation, abrasion, and total sensory collapse. The production is dense and hostile, smothering the listener in a viscous fog of distortion and decay.
Putrescence weaponizes deathgrind to combat modern brainrot, and to give you a blood soaked delicacy of a record.
