Omnicidal - The Omnicidalist - CD

The foundation to Omnicidal was laid back in 2019 when the cosmos intervened and saw Sebastian "Hravn" Svedlund and Fredrik Jordanius respective bands (Rimfrost and Egonaut/Lake of Tears) met their demise at the same time.

Seeing this as a sign the duo took upon themselves to carve a new path together in the name of Death Metal, and together with fellow roadwarriors Andreas Strandh (Ex Sister Sin) and Jansson "Jansson" Jansson (Ex Devilicious) they formed Omnicidal.

The purpose of the band was to manifest the ultimate mix of the old, putrid Swedish chainsaw sound with the slightly more melodic sound of the Gothenburg area and the band quickly gathered momentum with the singles "Let Me In" and "Dreadbringer".

As covid hit the world, throwing a spanner into all things that could even resemble live gigs and touring, Omnicidal choose the route of pretty much every band and hid away deep down in the catacombs beneath Borås to write songs for a full length album and in the fall of 2021 the band went to Soundport Studio in Ulricehamn to manifest their debut album.

Omnicidal recorded all the backing tracks live at Soundport while vocals and solos were recorded by the band themselves over at the mythical "Jordaniusounds" studio in Borås, and after having Mikael MRG Andersson mix and master the album down at Soundport "The Omnicidalist" was born.

In 2022 the band signed with Non Serviam Records and in 2023 the bands debut album “The Omnicidalist” is released.
